Let The Bots In ("we", "us", or "our") is operated by Aditya R. Singh. This policy explains what information we collect when you use letthebots.in, how we use it, and your rights.

1. What we collect

Scan requests. When you enter a domain and run a scan, we fetch that domain's publicly accessible robots.txt and homepage on our servers. We do not store the scan results, the domain you entered, or any data derived from the scan. Scans are stateless and ephemeral.

Email address. If you choose to enter your email to unlock the full fix guide, we collect that address. We also collect the domain you scanned, your AI-readiness score, and score band alongside it, so we can send you relevant follow-up.

Bottom-of-page enquiry form. If you fill out the "Want it fixed for you?" form, we collect your email address and the domain you provide.

We do not use cookies, analytics trackers, fingerprinting, or any third-party advertising scripts.

2. How we use your information

• To send you a follow-up about AI-readiness best practices (one email, not a drip campaign).
• To respond to implementation enquiries you submit through the contact form.
• To understand in aggregate which score bands are most common (no individual data).

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for their own marketing purposes.

3. Third-party processors

We use Kit (formerly ConvertKit) to manage our email list. When you enter your email, it is transmitted to Kit's servers and stored there. Kit's privacy policy is available at kit.com/privacy.

Our site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Cloudflare may process request metadata (IP address, user-agent) in accordance with their privacy policy at cloudflare.com/privacypolicy.

4. Data retention

Email addresses are retained in Kit until you unsubscribe or request deletion. Scan data is never persisted — it exists only for the duration of the HTTP request.

5. Your rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights under GDPR, CCPA, or other applicable laws, including:

• The right to access the personal data we hold about you.
• The right to correct inaccurate data.
• The right to deletion ("right to be forgotten").
• The right to withdraw consent at any time (unsubscribe links are in every email).

6. Children

This service is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 16.

7. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance.
