Illustrative finding

Article schema is missing

The example document contains Organization markup but no Article node describing its visible article.

Suggested fix

Add Article markup that matches the visible headline, author and publication date, and reference the existing Organization entity.

A technical readiness score. Actual vendor visits, rankings and citations are not measured.

What does this tool actually measure?

The report groups observations into access, readability, structured data, authority and identity, extractability, and freshness and hygiene. Findings show the evidence and suggested fix. These are readiness heuristics, not a measured model of any vendor ranking system.

What does a score of 85 or above mean?

It is the highest band in this version of our readiness rubric. The legacy band name Citation-ready is a label, not a promise of citations or a guarantee that every check passed. Compare scores only under the same scoring version and with complete measurement coverage. Incomplete scans have no complete score.

Is my data stored when I run a scan?

We cache only the latest score, band and timestamp under a hashed URL key for up to 30 days for badges and share images. We do not persist fetched HTML, full reports or uploaded logs. Logs and saved-report tools run in your browser. Opt-in monitoring stores the exact target URL, your email and compact observation history until you unsubscribe; newsletter signup stores your email until you unsubscribe.

Does blocking GPTBot also block search crawlers?

Training and search user-agents can have separate rules. A wildcard Disallow rule may affect both. The report shows the configured search, training and user-triggered crawler policies separately so you can review the policy you intend.
